Geoffrey Gabriel

Geoffrey Gabriel is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system engineering and technical support. Currently serving as a System Engineer at Algemeen Stedelijk Ziekenhuis Aalst since November 2017, Geoffrey is responsible for the administration and monitoring of IT operations and infrastructure within ASZ IT Data Centers, focusing on efficient data processing and providing third-line support. Prior to this role, Geoffrey was a Senior System Engineer at Atos from February 2002 to November 2017, where responsibilities included providing 2nd and 3rd-level support in a Windows environment and assisting local helpdesk operators. Additional experience includes work as a Technical Support Engineer at B&V Consultants and as a Technical Support Specialist at Dolmen Group, where project management skills were honed during a major organizational move. Geoffrey began a career in IT as a Field Technician at Dolmen, delivering repair services across Belgium. Educationally, Geoffrey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from HOGENT, earned between 1996 and 1999.
