Andrew Foster, CFA, is currently the Chief Data Officer at M&T Bank, where responsibilities include the design and execution of data and AI strategies. Prior to this role, Andrew spent over a decade at Deutsche Bank, where roles included Head of Data Governance for the Americas, Deputy Chief Data Officer for the Americas, and Head of Program Execution for the Chief Data Office. Key achievements included leading initiatives in data stewardship, governance, and critical banking programs involving a large matrix team. Earlier experience includes leading change management at Europe Arab Bank and managing finance projects at Arab Bank. Andrew holds a BBusSci degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town and attended London Business School.
