Douglas McNevin, PE, CCM is a Vice President in the Construction Management Department, is a results-driven leader with unique hands-on experience and success built upon integrity, a strong work ethic, excellence in problem solving, and proven organizational and interpersonal skills. Doug joined ATANE in 2015 after approximately 40 years as Deputy Director/Director of Construction for the New York City Housing Authority. Doug has managed multimillion-dollar governmental projects, responding to issues during the design, procurement and construction phases. He has provided forensic engineering, estimating, claims analysis, and expert testimony for mediation, arbitration, and litigation on numerous construction-related disputes. Doug has also developed and presented training seminars for the construction industry on topics such as project controls, construction contract provisions, and construction delays. He was a key manager for the initial emergency response to Superstorm Sandy, including awarding and managing the work of a cadre of contractors and construction management, architectural and engineering design firms. Our clients can depend on his adeptness at initiating and supervising the design and construction of large-scale, multidisciplinary projects and coordinating such vital construction program components as quality control, inspection, safety reviews, value engineering, scheduling and expenditures, and claims negotiation and settlement.
