Laurence Gamelin

Laurence Gamelin is the VP of Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance at Atara Biotherapeutics, a position held since August 2017. Previously, Laurence served as Executive Director of Drug Safety at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from March 2015 to October 2016, overseeing pharmacovigilance for a large portfolio including NDA filings and regulatory interactions. Prior experience includes roles as Medical Director - Global Safety Officer and Senior Medical Scientist at Amgen from January 2010 to December 2014, and International Project Manager at the International Research Institute Servier from September 2007 to December 2009. Laurence holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Clinical Toxicology from Medical School France and a Certificate in the U.S. Health Care System from UCLA.
