MacKenzie Sober

Mackenzie Sober is an Associate Scientist at Atara Biotherapeutics since November 2021, focusing on the development and optimization of Allogeneic CAR-T Cell Platforms. Expertise includes cell culture, Flow Cytometry, assay design, and data analysis, alongside the drafting of quality documents and tech transfer support. Previous experience encompasses a role as an Instructor at CorePower Yoga, managing classes and supporting a certified teacher training program. Additional research roles include a Research Assistant position at UCLA Semel Institute and a Staff Research Associate position at UCLA Health, where molecular pathways in Glioblastoma and neuronal development in Drosophila were investigated. Mackenzie earned a Master’s degree in Intensive Medical Sciences from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UCLA.
