Anil Padyana

Anil Padyana has extensive work experience in the field of biochemistry, biophysics, and structural biology. Anil is currently serving as the Senior Director of Biochemistry and Biophysics at Atavistik Bio since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Agios Pharmaceuticals, where they held the position of Director of Structural Biology and Biophysics from October 2018 to September 2021, and Associate Director from March 2015 to September 2018.

Before joining Agios Pharmaceuticals, Anil worked at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for a significant period. Anil held multiple roles during their time there, including Crystallography Group Leader from November 2011 to February 2015, Principal Scientist from March 2009 to February 2015, and Senior Scientist from December 2005 to February 2009.

Anil's earlier experience includes working as a Scientist I/Postdoctoral Fellow at SGX Pharmaceuticals from January 2003 to November 2005, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Rockefeller University from August 2001 to December 2002.

Through their diverse roles in various companies, Anil has gained substantial expertise and knowledge in the fields of biochemistry, biophysics, and structural biology.

Anil Padyana completed their education from 1995 to 2001, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biomolecular Crystallography and Bioinformatics at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
