Atavus
Michaela Staniford serves as the Atavus Rugby Academy Manager and Elite Coach since January 2017, responsible for creating and delivering the program vision and managing on-field training sessions. Previously, Michaela had a successful career as a professional England Rugby Sevens player with the Rugby Football Union from February 2005 to September 2016. Additionally, Michaela held the role of Operations Manager at Schools of Sport from July 2013 to June 2014 and worked as a Physical Education teacher at Rickmansworth School and Princes Risborough Secondary School in 2008-2013. Michaela's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science from St Mary’s University, a Master’s in Leadership and Management from Northumbria University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Hertfordshire, and A Levels in PE, English, and Biology from East Durham and Houghall Community College.
