Joe Shawfield

Joe Shawfield has worked in the technology industry since 1995, beginning their career as a Technical Analyst at Oracle Corporation. In 2005, they moved on to become a Senior Analyst at Sunterra Resorts, before taking on the role of Senior Manager of Software Architecture at Westgate Resorts in 2008. In 2017, they were appointed Vice President of Information Technology at Quality Marketing Group, and in 2019 they became a Cloud Software Engineer at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Most recently, in 2020, they took on the role of Cloud Architect and Consultant at Atayo Cloud Services.

Joe Shawfield obtained a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida between 1994 and 1996. Joe also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University between 1988 and 1993. Additionally, Joe obtained an Associate of Arts from Tallahassee Community College between 1988 and 1990. Joe holds two certifications from Amazon Web Services, a Solutions Architect - Professional obtained in June 2022 and a Solutions Architect Associate obtained in December 2018.
