Donald Smitten

Don Smitten worked for 20 years as President and CEO for the Alberta Motor Association (AMA) and also served as CEO and board member for two AMA subsidiaries: Alberta Motor Association Insurance Company and Bridgewater Bank. He brings a wealth of experience in risk management, strategic planning, organizational culture, growth and purpose from his various executive positions held in his tenure at the AMA.

Don served on the board of the Canadian Automobile Association, Travel Systems Technology, LLC and various not for profit organizations He currently is a board member of Excel Society and sits on their Governance Committee.

Don has a B Comm from the University of Alberta and is a CPA.
