Elvin Smith

Elvin Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and compliance within the financial sector. Currently serving as the Director of Risk & Compliance and Director of IT Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting at ATB Financial since October 2020, Elvin previously held positions such as Senior Internal Assurance Partner and Internal Assurance Partner II. Prior to ATB Financial, Elvin worked at Enbridge as a Messaging Administrator II and held various roles at Britec Computer Systems Ltd. and BlackBerry. Elvin holds a Bachelor's degree in Informatics with a focus on Software Systems from Dalhousie University, a Business Analysis Professional Development Certificate from MacEwan University, and an Associate of Arts degree in Pre-Engineering from the College of the Bahamas. Elvin is also certified as a CISM, CISA, and CIA.
