Erik Hope

Erik Hope is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software development and digital strategy. Currently serving as SVP and Head of Engineering and Enterprise Services at ATB Financial since April 2020, Erik leads a team of over 300 professionals to drive ATB's technical strategy and execution aligned with its long-term vision. Prior to this, Erik held various senior leadership roles at WestJet from 2005 to 2020, including Head of Digital Products and Director of Digital, where responsibilities included the strategic direction and delivery of the guest-facing digital ecosystem. Erik's earlier positions included senior roles at Industrial Defender, Commvault, and Emerson Automation Solutions, showcasing a strong background in engineering and software development. Erik holds a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary.
