Miguel Pontes is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles within the engineering sector. Currently serving as Chief Mechanical Engineer at ATB Group UK Ltd since February 2020, Miguel leads the Mechanical and Drawing Office teams while maintaining strong technical support. Previous positions include Senior Mechanical Engineer at ATB Group UK Ltd, where Miguel specialized in mechanical design analysis for High Voltage Induction Motors, and various roles in other companies such as Design and Project Engineer at TORROS LIMITED and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at MSF Technologies, focusing on high-efficiency energy systems and bespoke mechanical solutions. With a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Coimbra, Miguel has developed a robust skill set across project management, research and development, and technical design.
