Terry Ammons

Terry Ammons has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. In 2017, Terry began working at ATC Tech on Demand as the Vice President. Prior to this role, Terry was the IT Infrastructure Manager at ATC Broadband from 2016-2017. From 2012-2016, Terry was the Lead Security & Systems Engineer at Mayo Clinic Health System. From 2004-2012, Terry worked at Satilla Health Services as a Network Administrator and Network Technician. During this role, Terry evaluated, selected, and configured endpoint security software, Data Loss Prevention systems, traffic anomaly detection appliances, Juniper firewalls, and Ruckus Wireless Access Points. Terry also managed the yearly IT infrastructure budget, replaced data center switching infrastructure, budgeted and planned new campus fiber, installed and maintained Cisco VoIP solutions, and maintained Exchange environment for 1500 employees. Additionally, Terry evaluated and researched new technologies and negotiated installation, support, and maintenance contracts.

Terry Ammons has a comprehensive educational background, including a Master's Degree in IT Management from Western Governors University (2015-2017), a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University (2012-2014), and an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Okefenokee Technical College (2001-2003). Terry also holds certifications in Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Security Professional, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Project+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Microsoft Technology Associate: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals.
