Nick Hampshire is a seasoned executive in the housing sector with extensive experience in asset management, development, and strategic oversight. Since January 2017, Nick has served as Chief Executive of ateb Group, overseeing multiple housing associations including ateb Housing Association and Mill Bay Homes. Prior experience includes roles as Asset Management Director at Housing Plus Group and Director of Asset Management & Investment at Newport City Homes, where Nick was integral to strategic asset management and property services. Nick's career began as a Quantity Surveyor with Capita Property and Infrastructure and Northcroft, complemented by an MBA from Cardiff University and a BSc in Quantity Surveying from the University of the West of England.

ateb is a Housing Association and the parent company to Mill Bay Homes, West Wales Care and Repair and Effective Building Solutions. Our group of companies work across West Wales and have the collective purpose of ‘creating better living solutions’ for the people and communities of West Wales. We currently have over 3000 homes predominantly in Pembrokeshire that we rent on either a social or intermediate rental basis. ateb works closely with its Local Authority and other partners to develop around 150 new homes every year, to meet affordable housing need through a range of tenures such as, for rent, rent to buy or shared ownership. The ateb group consists of around 130 team members and many more partners and suppliers within our wider supply chain. All our activities are governed by our Board and regulated by the Welsh Government.
