Christopher Khoury is currently working as a Design Engineer at Alphatec Spine since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego from September 2020 to June 2022, where their work focused on designing and manufacturing a device to induce traumatic brain injury on brain organoids. Before that, they held the position of President at ASME SDSU (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) from May 2019 to May 2020, where they provided leadership and secured project funding. Christopher also worked as a Project Manager at ASME SDSU from May 2018 to May 2019, overseeing and managing project teams. Additionally, they have experience as a Project Engineering Intern at Countywide Mechanical Systems, Inc. from June 2019 to August 2019, and as a Prep and Flow Worker at IKEA Group from June 2018 to September 2018. Christopher started their career as a Stocker at The Home Depot from May 2017 to August 2017.
Christopher Khoury pursued their education in the field of engineering with a focus on bioengineering. Christopher completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Emphasis on Bioengineering from San Diego State University from 2016 to 2020. Following this, they continued their academic journey at UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering from 2020 to 2022, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
