Frank Chang has a range of work experience in the engineering field. Frank started their career at DSM as a Polymer Commercialization - R&D Engineer Co-op in 2012, where they developed and documented test methods for polymer implants and designed fixtures for cleanrooms. In 2013, they worked at Integra LifeSciences as an Extremity Reconstruction - Product Development Co-op, conducting research on antimicrobial collagen prototypes and developing artificial skin fingertip prototypes. Frank then joined the University of Sydney in 2014 as an Engineering Research Associate, where they prepared micro-patterned hydroxyapatite disks and conducted various tests related to osteoblast growth. Currently, Frank is working at Alphatec Spine, starting as a Design Engineer in 2015 and progressing to Sr. Design Engineer in 2018.
Frank Chang completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Drexel University from 2010 to 2015. Frank then pursued a Master's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the same institution from 2013 to 2015.
