Madeline Waxman

Madeline Waxman has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Madeline is currently the Director of Financial Reporting at Alphatec Spine, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at BDO USA, LLP for nine years, starting as an Assurance Senior in October 2011 and progressing to roles of Assurance Manager and finally Assurance Senior Manager. At BDO, they audited complex financial statement areas and designed risk-based audit approaches. Madeline also facilitated communication between clients and executive leaders and led teams of 2-4 associates. Before joining BDO, Madeline worked as an Accountant at the Saikhon Family Trust from October 2008 to August 2011. In this role, they managed the accounting function for seven clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank deposits, and general IT. Madeline performed bank reconciliations, created invoices, made journal adjustments, and handled payroll on a monthly basis. Madeline also prepared and reconciled financial statements, assisted in tax preparations, and completed year-end journal entries.

Madeline Waxman completed their education at San Diego State University from 2008 to 2010, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In October 2013, they obtained a CPA License from the California Board of Accountancy.
