Todd Koning

Todd Koning has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Todd is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Alphatec Spine since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Masimo from April 2018 to April 2021, where they held the position of SVP Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. At Masimo, Todd was responsible for corporate planning and analysis, global accounting, SEC reporting, investor outreach, and financial systems.

Before joining Masimo, Todd worked at NuVasive as Vice President Finance from May 2016 to April 2018. Todd started as the International CFO and later partnered with the EVP Global Commercial to lead the global commercial organization.

From March 2014 to May 2016, Todd served as the Vice President Finance at Ellipse Technologies, a company focused on non-invasively adjustable implants for spinal and orthopedic applications.

Prior to that, they worked at Boston Scientific as a Finance Director from May 2006 to March 2014. Todd had P&L and balance sheet responsibility for different regions, including an expatriate assignment in London, England.

Todd began their career at Guidant Corporation as a Finance Manager from May 2001 to April 2006. Todd held various finance roles and led planning, analysis, and accounting processes for global divisions and operations.

Before transitioning to the finance field, Todd started their career at CNH where they worked as a Chief Manufacturing Engineer. Todd led manufacturing engineers and was involved in quality responsibility for valve production. Todd also participated in the Manufacturing Management Training Program.

Todd Koning has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Michigan State University. Todd also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Operations from Purdue University. However, the specific start and end years for their education remain unknown.
