Elga Niemann

Elga Niemann has extensive work experience in the field of lighting design. Elga started their career in 2000 as an Assistant Lighting Designer at SKK Lighting and then went on to become a Colour Research Assistant at Colour Design Research Group in 2002. In 2004, they joined BDP as a Lighting Designer before transitioning to the role of Lighting Design Manager at Vision Design in 2007. In 2008, Elga became a Senior Lighting Designer at BDP before eventually becoming an Associate Director at Light + Design Associates Ltd in 2009. Elga'smost recent role, starting in 2015, is as Head of Lighting at Atelier Ten.

Elga Niemann obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Design from London South Bank University, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Light and Lighting at UCL from 2003 to 2005.
