Graphic Designer at Atelier

Elby Chai has a diverse range of work experience in graphic design and communications. Starting in 2018, Elby worked as a Box Staff at Roseville Cinemas while also taking on the role of Co-Creative Director at Vertigo Magazine from November 2019 to December 2020. In 2019, Elby also began working as a Freelance Graphic Designer, providing design services for various clients until January 2022.

In 2020, Elby joined the University of Technology Sydney as a Student Demonstrator for three months, assisting in teaching and demonstrating design concepts to students. Elby then served as a Notetaker at the university from February to August 2021. Additionally, from July to December 2021, Elby worked as a Communications Intern at UTS Library, gaining experience in marketing and communication strategies.

In 2022, Elby secured a position as a Graphic Design Intern at DesignStudio for two months before transitioning to the role of Junior Graphic Designer at Atelier. Currently, Elby continues to work as a Graphic Designer at Atelier, contributing to various design projects.

Elby Chai attended the University of Technology Sydney from 2018 to 2020, where they studied Design in Visual Communications and Creative Intelligence and Innovation. They then pursued a Design in Visual Communications (Honours) degree at the University of Technology Sydney in 2021.
