Bong Eliab has extensive work experience in multiple roles and companies. Bong began their career in 1993 at Ateneo de Davao University, where they held various positions such as Executive Vice President and Employee. Throughout their time at the university, they served as General Assistant to the President, Assistant to the President, Lecturer, Web Development Team Coordinator, Faculty Development Coordinator, College Scholarship Coordinator, University Lecturer, Parttime Lecturer, and FYCF Coordinator. Before their higher education, Bong completed Classical High School at Sto Niño Seminary from 1986 to 1989, and they received their high school education at St Augustine Academy in 1985-1986.
