Adam McDonald

Adam McDonald is a Program Manager and Polymer and Fiber Engineer at ATEX Technologies, Inc. since May 2012, specializing in the design and development of fibers for implantable medical devices and pioneering new polymer and fiber technology. Previously, Adam served as a Project Engineer, focusing on textile components for medical devices and their manufacturing processes. Adam has also gained experience as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where fiber samples were collected and analyzed, and as a College of Textiles Tutor, providing academic support in various subjects. An early career position as a Manufacturing Intern at McMurray Fabrics Inc. contributed to a solid background in textile design. Adam holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Textile Engineering and Polymer and Color Chemistry from North Carolina State University.
