Timothy Jones

Timothy Jones is a senior executive with over 31 years of experience in leading criminal investigations and crisis response at the ATF and previously as a police officer. They currently serve as the Deputy Assistant Director of Field Operations for Region 1 and the Special Operations Division at the U.S. Department of Justice. Throughout their career, Jones has managed critical incidents, including the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks and the Boston Marathon Bombing, and has received numerous awards for their service, including the ATF Medal of Valor. They obtained their degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and were selected for the Senior Executive Service in April 2019.
