Kelly Matthews

Kelly Matthews is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in composites and structural design within the aerospace and marine industries. Currently serving as the Technical Program Leader for ATG Europe, Kelly leads a multi-disciplinary team focused on composite structure developments for spacecraft and launchers, overseeing various aspects including design optimization, manufacturing methodologies, and quality control processes. Previous roles include Technical Manager for Rotor and Stator Design at OpenHydro, where responsibilities involved driving complex designs to manufacture and ensuring critical interfaces were met. Kelly also held positions at Airbus Group, contributing to significant projects such as the Beluga XL and A350XWB, with expertise in finite element analysis and structural engineering. Kelly holds a Master of Engineering degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
