Sharan Arkalgud

Sharan Arkalgud is a Tech Lead Manager and Software Engineer at Athelas since October 2021, with prior experience as a Software Engineer at Facebook from September 2019 to October 2021, contributing to the Spark AR Capabilities Team to enhance computer vision performance for augmented reality applications. Sharan also served as an Engineering Learning Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, guiding Computer Science freshmen, and held various internships, including a Software Engineering role at Garmin International, where REST APIs were designed to support GDPR compliance, and at Hughes Network Systems, developing customer service management solutions. Sharan co-founded AVA Technology, focusing on innovative solutions for college students, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
