Brian Short

Brian Short is the President of Brian Short Consulting, LLC, offering expertise in nonclinical drug development, particularly in ocular and dermal therapies since September 2015. With extensive experience in advising biopharmaceuticals and medical devices, Brian has a strong background in nonclinical strategies, toxicology, and regulatory interactions. Prior roles include Senior Technical Advisor at Allergan, where oversight was provided for nonclinical safety programs, and Senior Director of both Pathology and Toxicology at Allergan, leading teams in drug safety evaluation for biologics. Additionally, experience as a Senior Pathologist at GSK involved designing nonclinical toxicology programs. Brian's education includes a PhD in Experimental Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis.
