Colleen Mathias

Colleen Mathias has over 25 years of professional experience. Colleen is currently working as the Director of Client Management at ATHENA Consulting since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Operations Director at MAXIMUS from August 2018 to November 2021. From 2012 to 2018, they served as a Training & Project Manager at The MENTOR Network. Colleen also worked as the Director of Operations at Lebanese Taverna Group from 2004 to 2012. In addition, they worked as a Project Manager at the State Information Technology Consortium in 2004 and also at MAXIMUS from 1996 to 2004, where they managed and directed the Welfare-to-Work initiative. Colleen supervised multiple offices and staff, developed proposals, and served as a corporate trainer during their tenure at MAXIMUS.

Colleen Mathias obtained their Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Radford University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. In 2017, they attended the Center for Leadership Studies and became a Certified Situational Leadership (R) Trainer. Additionally, Colleen Mathias received certification in the Child & Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) Assessment-Trauma Version from the Praed Foundation, although the specific dates for this certification were not provided.
