Sohini Chaudhuri

Sohini Chaudhuri is a seasoned professional in ecology and environmental studies, currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Athena Infonomics since September 2024. Previously held senior consulting roles at Thinkthrough Consulting and served as Assistant Manager at the Australian Council for Educational Research. Earlier experience includes a Project Manager position at New Concept Information Systems Pvt. Ltd. and a Data Research Analyst role at IPE Global Limited, where involvement in the Infrastructure for Climate Resilient Growth programme focused on enhancing rural livelihood security. Sohini also contributed as a Project Fellow at the Wildlife Institute of India and Banaras Hindu University, engaging in critical research on the Himalayan ecosystem and medicinal plants, respectively. Additional experience includes an internship at TERI focusing on indoor air pollution in rural communities. Sohini holds a Master’s degree in Ecology and Environmental Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Botany/Plant Biology from Pondicherry University and Delhi University, respectively.
