Jamilah Sherally is currently a PHD Candidate at Athena - Research and Education Institute, focusing on participatory action research on the sexual and reproductive health of refugee women on Lesbos, Greece. Prior to this, Jamilah worked as a Medical Doctor at GGD Amsterdam providing primary healthcare and social services to vulnerable populations. Jamilah has a background in medicine, global health, and tropical medicine, with experience in various international organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières and Critical Care International. Through their diverse educational background and professional experiences, Jamilah continues to contribute to global health and humanitarian efforts.
