Chris Scheper

Chris Scheper is an experienced engineering and data science professional with a strong background in healthcare and government analytics. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Population Health at athenahealth since June 2014, Chris has held several key roles including Senior Manager and Data Science Manager. Prior experience includes positions at Opera Solutions, where responsibilities involved developing machine learning algorithms and analytics for large-scale systems, as well as contributions to the design of visualization frameworks and algorithms for outlier and intrusion detection. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University, supplemented by dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Applied Physics from Purdue University.
