David Minkin

David joined athenahealth in February 2024 as president and general manager of epocrates. He has full responsibility for the epocrates business unit, including engineering, product, marketing, sales, and customer success.

David brings over 25 years of experience managing data and monetization strategies for established and startup media publications. He previously worked at Dow Jones, a global news and business intelligence leader whose portfolio includes some of the widest-read and most respected media brands. At Dow Jones, David served as the senior vice president for digital operations and client success, responsible for developing and managing the sales support infrastructure and monetization strategy for the advertising business, as well as the first-party data go-to-market strategy. David also co-founded Breaking Media and was previously the publisher of Atlas Obscura. David holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
