Jan-Willem Gmelig Meyling

Jan-Willem Gmelig Meyling serves as the Chief Technology Officer at AthenaStudies, leading innovations in higher education study support since March 2016. With extensive experience in software engineering and consultancy, Jan-Willem has previously held roles at FreshMinds as a Consultant, at DICTU as a Senior Software Engineer, and at XLence Companies as a Fullstack Java Software Developer. As a co-founder of Clairify, Jan-Willem focused on improving indoor environments for medium to large enterprises. Other notable positions include Lead Software Engineer at CeresNexus LLC, Software Engineer at TU Delft, and various engineering roles at companies such as GeoSignum and VidiGo. Jan-Willem holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology and has completed further education at the University of Amsterdam.
