Steffen Wefring

Steffen Wefring began their work experience with a summer job in the accounting department at DSV in 2011. Steffen was responsible for customer creation and maintenance, as well as invoice operations. Steffen used software such as Sap, Soliditet, Cargolink, and Excel during this role.

In 2007, Steffen worked as a Salesperson at XXL Sport & Villmark until 2011.

Starting in 2012, they joined Ernst & Young as a Manager and remained there until 2019.

From 2019 to 2022, Steffen held the position of Head of Finance and Controlling at Wikborg Rein.

Currently, they are the CFO at Athene Group, starting in 2023.

Steffen Wefring has a strong educational background in business and accounting. Steffen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and IT-management from BI Norwegian Business School in 2010. After that, Steffen pursued further education and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business and Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2012. Steffen then specialized in auditing and accounting and obtained another Master of Science (MSc) degree from NHH in 2014. Steffen's dedication to their field is evident in their additional certification as a State authorized public accountant, which they obtained from Finanstilsynet in February 2017.
