Gary Wilgenbusch

Gary Wilgenbusch is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and tax management. Currently serving as the AVP US Controller at Athene since July 2021, Gary has held roles including Director of Expense Reporting and Sr. Manager of Expense. Prior experience at BerganKDV from September 2010 to July 2021 includes positions as Senior Manager and Tax Manager, where responsibilities involved managing client tax exposure and developing internal staff. Gary holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and an Associate of Arts in Business/Commerce from Kirkwood Community College.
