Jonathan Haines has extensive experience in corporate and reinsurance development, currently serving as VP of Corporate Development and VP of Reinsurance Business Development at Athene since May 2022. Prior roles include Director of Alternative Reinsurance Solutions and Pricing Actuary at Pacific Life Re from February 2018 to April 2022, where Jonathan led innovative solutions for reinsurance in the UK Pension Risk Transfer market. At Legal & General, between March 2014 and February 2018, Jonathan managed longevity reinsurance strategies and served as a Senior Analyst in the Strategic Pension Risk Transfer team. Earlier experience includes work as an Actuarial Pensions Consultant and an intern at Towers Watson. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Mathematics and Statistics from The London School of Economics and is affiliated with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
