Lela Houseman

Lela Houseman currently serves as AVP of Business Risk & Reporting at Athene since January 2025, following a role as Director of Risk Management at Talcott Financial Group from July 2023 to November 2024. Previously, Lela held positions at Athene as Director of Risk Reporting and Risk Lead Analyst in Enterprise Risk Management from September 2017 to August 2023. Lela began their career at Global Atlantic Financial Group as Audit Manager before transitioning to Principal Financial Group as Sr. Financial Analyst, and KPMG US as Senior Audit Associate. Lela holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Grand View University.
