Rick Deerberg

Rick Deerberg has over 35 years of experience in network engineering and operations. Currently serving as the Director of Network Engineering and Operations at Athene since September 2021, Rick previously held the position of Director of Data Center & Network Security at the University of Iowa from June 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, Rick worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as a Network Architect from November 1996 to June 2020, and as a Network Engineer at Micro Motion from April 1988 to November 1996. Rick's educational background includes studies at Kirkwood Community College and the University of Iowa.
