Habibu Hussein

Habibu Hussein has a diverse work experience in the agriculture and market consultancy fields. Habibu currently works as an Agriculture Officer at the National Irrigation Commission (NIRC) since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Market Consultant at Atheneum in July 2022. In 2021, Habibu worked as an Agronomist, and in 2020, they worked as a Market Promoter at Yara Tanzania Limited. Before that, they were self-employed as an Agronomist from November 2019 to August 2020. Habibu also gained experience as an Extension Officer at Bayer Life Science from July 2019 to October 2019.

Habibu Hussein completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, General at Chuo Kikuu Cha Sokoine Cha Kilimo from 2016 to 2019. In addition, they obtained additional certifications including Fertilizer Legal Frameworks from Tanzania Fertilizer Regulatory Authority in July 2019, Crop Protection Workshop from Bayer East Africa in December 2016, and Self-awareness and Entrepreneurship Sensitization from ILO and EduGuide Tanzania in November 2013.
