Jim Owens

Jim Owens is the Chief Executive Officer of Atheneum, a position held since 2023. They are an experienced leader with a background in human resources and security and are a thought leader in human capital management and talent acquisition. They previously served as President and CEO of Cisive from 2003 to 2022, as a Senior Manager at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young from 2000 to 2003, and as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1999 on the USS Atlanta (SSN 712) and the USS Albany (SSN 753). They were a board member for Velocity Network Foundation from 2019 to 2023 and served as Chairman. They earned a BS in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1990.
