The Athenian School
Adam Thorman is an experienced photography educator and fine arts professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Photography Teacher and Fine Art Department Chair at The Athenian School since August 2012, Thorman specializes in experiential and interdisciplinary project-based classes and has managed the Arts Department since 2017. Additionally, Thorman has a freelance career as a photographer, digital retoucher, and workshop instructor, alongside previous teaching roles at prestigious institutions such as UC Berkeley and Prescott College. Thorman holds an MFA in Photography from Arizona State University and a BFA in Photography from New York University.
