Michael Zahabi, CPA

Michael Zahabi, CPA has extensive work experience in various accounting roles. Michael started their career as a Geographic Analyst for the State of Michigan from 1999 to 2003. Michael then worked as a Production Inventory Coordinator at General Motors from 2004 to 2005. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Staff/Senior Accountant at Rehmann. In 2008, they joined IBM as an Accounting Analyst and later became a Business Analyst, working on over 200 projects and generating over $60 million in annual revenue. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Electronic Funds Source, LLC. In 2015, they served as a Corporate Headquarters Accountant at Lockheed Martin. Michael then worked at the University of Maryland as an Accountant and Business Manager in the Division of Information Technology from 2016 to 2018, and later as an Accountant in the Office of the Comptroller. Currently, since 2018, they hold the role of Senior Accountant at Athenium Analytics.

Michael Zahabi, CPA has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography from Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University. In 2008, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Michigan.
