Before joining Athennian, Cassia worked as a Software Developer at Brock Solutions from October 2018 to March 2020.

In 2017, Cassia worked as a Full Stack Developer at Lumotune, where they built a web scraper to graphically display a business's traffic and contributed to software and firmware codebase to improve glass display architecture.

In 2016, Cassia served as a Hardware Design Engineer Coop at Arista Networks, where they designed and updated schematics for power testing board, analyzed eye diagrams for jitter, and simulated power consumption of PCBs using Sigrity.

Cassia also gained experience as a Hardware Engineer Coop at Kaleidescape in 2015 and as a Software Developer Coop at TD in 2014.

Cassia's early work experience includes a role as a Verification Engineer Coop at SkyWave an ORBCOMM Company in 2014 and as an Instructor/Lifeguard at YMCAs of Cambridge & Kitchener-Waterloo in 2013.

Cassia M. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Design Engineering with a Management Sciences option from the University of Waterloo. Cassia graduated with distinction and was also included in the Dean's Honours List. Additionally, Cassia completed an exchange term in Engineering at the Delft University of Technology.
