Scottlyn James

Scottlyn James is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in both nonprofit organizations and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as the Director of Finance for UGA Wesley Foundation since August 2017, Scottlyn manages the organization's finances, oversees budgets, and leads a team of interns. Concurrently, Scottlyn holds the position of Financial Services Coordinator at Athens Church, facilitating communication between staff and the bookkeeper while processing financial documents. As the founder and owner of All Dolled Updo, Scottlyn provides hairstyling services to enhance clients' natural beauty and utilizes social media for marketing. Additionally, Scottlyn tutors students in finance at Fun with Finance and previously worked as a Shift Leader at Cold Stone Creamery. Scottlyn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a certificate in Actuarial Science from the University of Georgia and is actively engaged in mentoring and community outreach.
