Derick Mason

Derick Mason has extensive experience in project management and engineering within the construction industry, currently serving as an Engineering Administrator and previously as a Construction Management Engineer for Athens-Clarke County Unified Government since July 2017. Prior experience includes significant roles as Project Manager and Estimator for various companies such as United Grading & Excavating, Strickland & Sons Pipeline, Inc., and G.P.'s Enterprises, Inc., where responsibilities included managing highway projects and coordinating subcontractors. Derick Mason's career began with the Georgia Department of Transportation as a Senior Construction Inspector, ensuring compliance with state regulations. Educational background includes attendance at Gainesville College and graduation from Banks County High School.
