Ilias Papageorgiou is a prominent architect and educator with extensive experience in academia and practice. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Athens Epidaurus Festival and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Patras, Ilias also founded PILA, an architecture studio with offices in Athens and New York, focused on creating cultural and residential environments globally. Previous roles include Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, Partner and Associate Principal at SO – IL, and various design critic positions at Columbia University. Ilias began the career as a Research Assistant at Harvard University and contributed to the Whitney Museum of American Art on the exhibition "Buckminster Fuller: Starting with the Universe." Ilias holds a Master's degree in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Diploma in Architecture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
