Socrates Lazaridis

Socrates Lazaridis has extensive experience in the financial sector, notably with the Athens Exchange Group since 1994, where roles have included Advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, CEO, and Executive Chairman during the merger with HELEX. Key positions also include Executive Vice Chairman and General Manager overseeing various aspects of the stock market and CSD operations, as well as serving as Chairman of ASYK SA and Vice President of the Athens Derivatives Exchange. Additionally, Socrates has been involved with the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council. Earlier career experience includes co-founding Effect Ltd., focused on capital market analysis and software development, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Athens. Socrates holds an MSc in Economics from Queen Mary University of London.
