Sherry Clounch

Sherry Clounch, AGACNP, gained extensive experience as an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner at Athens-Limestone Hospital over 14 years before transitioning to a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner role. Sherry manages patient care from assessment to discharge planning. As a Clinical Nurse Supervisor, Sherry oversees an ED unit, improves flow, trains staff, and leads healthcare teams. In their role as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Sherry offers a variety of services at Cardiovascular Institute of the Shoals/Northwest Alabama Medical Associates in collaboration with physicians. Sherry holds a Master of Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
