Kayla Emmett

Kayla joined Athens Orthopedic Clinic in October of 2018 as a Physical Therapist for the Spine/Total Joint and SPARC therapy teams. Prior to joining AOC, Kayla worked in Greensboro, GA where she treated a variety of Orthopedic and Neurological conditions from Stroke patients to Total Joint surgery patients. Kayla received her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science as well as her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of North Georgia, with a special interest in Orthopedics and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. Kayla has attended continuing education courses for specific training in treating a variety of pelvic diagnoses including urinary incontinence and postpartum issues. She is passionate about treating this underserved population and is dedicated to helping them regain their lives back and returning to the activities they love.
