Grayson Simmons

Grayson Simmons is an experienced Learning & ActiveFlex Technology Specialist at Athens State University since January 2022. Prior to this role, Grayson worked as an Audio Engineer at St. Peter's Anglican Church from October 2021 to July 2024 and held positions as a Substitute Teacher and Aide at Hartselle City School District between January 2017 and December 2021. In addition, Grayson operated as an Independent Contractor as an Audio Engineer and Musician from June 2013 to December 2021 and served as the Head of Research at Athens Limestone Public Library from May 2013 to August 2016, overseeing various library operations and community programs. Grayson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music with a minor in Communications from the University of North Alabama (2009-2011) and an Associate’s degree in Music from Northeast Alabama Community College (2006-2008).
