Kristi Heath

Kristi Kruse is an experienced educator specializing in biology with a robust teaching background. Currently serving as the Alabama Science in Motion Biology Specialist at Athens State University since January 2022, Kristi previously taught comprehensive science at James Clemens High School from August 2018 to December 2021, overseeing programs such as the Outdoor Classroom Club and coaching the GreenPower Racing Team. Prior experience includes a student teaching internship at Sparkman High School and roles at Athens State University, including as a Biology Materials Assistant. Kristi holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology Education from Athens State University and has a history of creating engaging educational content and maintaining laboratory environments.
